EXCESSIVE SWEATING

Are you embarrassed by sweat stains on your clothes, shaking hands or odour in your shoes? Botox® has been shown to be effective as a medical treatment to reduce embarrassing excessive sweating.

But Isn’t Sweating Normal?

Some people suffer from a condition called hyperhidrosis, when they sweat more than the average person, and experience embarrassment in their daily life.

How Does it Work?

A Botox® treatment in the underarms, hands or feet dramatically reduces your sweating in these areas, and can last for as long as 6 to 8 months, leaving you able to wear that grey shirt again, shake your boss’s hand, or wear slip-on shoes with no embarrassing foot sweat.

I Have Medical Benefit Insurance. Will My Treatment Be Covered?

Your initial consultation for excessive sweating is covered by OHIP, and most medication insurance plans cover the cost of the Botox® treatment. There is an administration fee for the treatment itself.
